Dog Walking

Collecting your dog

I provide a daily or occassional group dog walk. All dogs on each walk are suitably matched with a group of walking buddies.  I collect from your home and transport your beloved boy or girl in a securley caged and ventilated van.  I ensure the safety of your keys by not keeping any indentifiable connection with you or your address. I am fully insured and am happy to provide details.

The dog walk

Each walk is approximately 45 mins plus traveling time.  If I have your permission and your dog is good on recall, I will walk him or her off-lead on Salisbury Plain or another safe local walking spot. As well as exercise, the walk provides a great source of stimulation and socialisation.  I closely monitor every group and have had great success working with dogs with fear issues, by introducing them to safe and confident groups, allowing them to learn to play and relax.

Returning home

I ask that you provide a towel for each dog on their return so that I can dry them off before leaving. Water bowls will be checked on departure and if there are any feeding requirements or treats this can be catered for.

Conditions

  • All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations, flea treatment and worming.
  • All dogs must wear a collar and tag while being walked and be microchipped - this is a legal requirement.
  • I cannot take bitches in season.
  • Dogs with fear issues will only be taken on a trial basis in the first instance.
  • I cannot take dogs permanently on lead that are strong or pull excessively/constantly.
  • Large/heavy dogs must be capable of stepping/jumping the approximately 50cm into and out of the van.
  • Any changes in medical circumstances must be notified prior to the next walk.
  • If I cannot gain access to collect your dog for any reason beyond my control I will do my best to contact you and let you know. If the reason is due to a mistake on your part (eg a key left inside a lock) the walk will still be chargable.
  • If there is an emergency with your dog on a walk my first priority will be the safety and health of your dog.  I will seek vetinary assistance and then when able attempt to contact you.

Booking your dog walk

  • Spaces on walks are prioritised for permanent customers that are booked for regular walks. Occasional bookings are allocated spaces depending on availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Occasional walks should normally be booked by the Friday preceeding the week of the required walk.  In an exceptional emergency I will try to help but cannot guarantee availability.
  • Bookings must be made during working hours of Mon - Fri 8am to 6pm.  Outside of these hours please send a text and I will answer when I can.
  • Cancellations must be made a minimum of 24 hours prior to the walk or the event will still be chargable at the full rate.
